Tyumen Oblast is a Western Siberian oblast with extreme cold weather. Frost dominates the landscape for 130 to 210 days and the main wildlife here are arctic animals like polar bears, walruses, and arctic foxes. While there’s significant minority diversity in this region, there’s is little to no documented variation in Russian recipes here due to the colonization of ethnically European Russians in the area.
