Southeast Brazil houses a few large states: Rio de Janeiro, SΓ£o Paulo, EspΓrito Santo, and Minas Gerais. This region is responsible for a lot of the agricultural products and livestock-related products of Brazil. Additionally, because of the large cities, this region boasts some of the most intense diversity of the country. You can find the classic blend of European, Indigenous, African, and Asian cuisines that’s common throughout Brazil, but with some slight twists. For example, Rio de Janeiro tends to enjoy more seafood while EspΓrito Santo has more Italian and German influences.
