This rolling land-locked region in Brazil houses the country’s capital, BrasΓlia and lots of grains. That said, this region doesn’t have markedly distinct food from other regions of Brazil. Two of the states, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, are more similar to North Brazilian and Southeast Brazilian cuisines respectively. You are more likely to find pequi, chestnuts, and palm-related produce in this region.
